Are you ready for some football?
I enjoy Conor's reaction to this almost as much as the dancing.

We're kind of a big deal
OK, so while I've been not blogging, I've been out learning at a photography seminar I took last Friday from THIS guy. Yes, you should go click that link. It's wedding photography that will blow your mind.
In addition to me learning, Conor and I were the morning 'engagement session' models. It just worked out that they really needed some models and now that Conor's working from home, he took an hour to come on over.
See some of the results HERE and HERE (Bonnie is a friend of mine that was also in the seminar)
The other cuter, younger couple is one of my wedding couples! They were such good sports for the 'concept' shoot. Plus they get a really awesome mug shot portrait out of it.
Tons of Savannah stuff coming soon!!!

Tweeting
So you may have noticed the Twitter sidebar over there to the right. I'm trying to be cool and hip despite my older than dirt age and get in on this whole social networking thing. If you can't get enough of me, now I'm micro-blogging!
It's pretty fun and allows me to jot down things that I would normally forget. I also have my work email hooked up to it, so some of my clients are finding me that way too.
So anyway, there's that.
Carry on. OH! Speaking of carrying on - new Project Runway tonight! I *heart* Tim Gunn

POTD: 'Being Dramatic'
Flopping around on the ground is apparently 'Being Dramatic' to Miss Savannah. I just think it's cute.

"We congratulations on your health"
From a fun spam email I got last night entitled "Infrared Sauna Offer". I NEVER open spam, but I'm glad I looked at this one. Enjoy with me, won't you?
Sauna is helpful for everyone.
Dear friend,
I am Tina Meihwa from China, I send you this message because I think everyone need health. You are healthy enough, but nobody refuse to be more healthy. Maybe you are beautiful girl, maybe you are handsome boy, or grandmother, we congratulations on your health. We produce infrared sauna rooms to help people become much more strong, much more beautiful, handsome.
Woo Conor!
So most of you don't know this, but Conor decided to go back to work for Microsoft. Are we moving back to Seattle? Hell no!
He will be spending one week a month up in Redmond and then working from home the rest of the time.
His first day back is today and although we miss him terribly, I am so proud of him. He's going back to doing something that he has a real passion for (plus being darn good at it) and I think that's great!
The hilarious thing is that he has to attend "New Employee Orientation'. That's pretty funny as he's a 10-year vet of the company.
Have a great first day!!!
We love you!

Monthly Update: Month 31
Oh you guys give me too much credit.....we would love to start potty training Savannah, but she is just not there yet. She recently told me that 'someday I will go pee-pee on the potty, but not right now'.
I'm hoping we can start in a month or so - but good guesses! What is this picture all about? Well, Savannah has taken to wearing her 'bloomers' as hats! It's really that simple and that silly. It just cracks me up because she looks like a Mexican wrestler.

There aren't a lot of major milestones this month, but you have said a lot of hilarious stuff lately. We are still battling with 2 1/2-ness, but as hoped there were less dramatic meltdowns and more semi-reasonable conversations.
The one weird thing lately has been your absolute insistence that I put you to bed. I enjoy putting you to bed most of the time, but sometimes I'm tired and Dad wants a turn. You held on to my neck the other night with such brute force that I had to concede - it was pretty sad. You won't even let one of the Gagas do it.
One thing that has spiked this month is your ability and desire to climb all over the place. You are a complete madwoman at the park. Your Gaga A and Daddy also fixed your playscape, so you are totally into climbing you ladder and sliding down the slide on your belly (as seen in the video a few weeks ago). You have also threatened to climb out of your crib, although that has not happened yet.

You are still very into the camera. You love my new point and shoot as I let you hold it and take pictures with it. Still pretty aware that you are cute too. There have been many requests for photo shoots this past month. One of your favorite things is when a jelly bean (yes, I'm back to gving her a few every now and then) turns your tongue colors.
Your imaginative play is so fun to watch. You have these great conversations with your toys and they really do have personalities as far as you are concerned. Your brain is startling. I love it when you ask to learn math (and your dad a million times so).
So smart and so cute - we love you.

Here are a few of your choice quotes from the last month:
"I am a little dancer!!!!" - your ballet teacher always says "Come on little dancers! Let's go into class now" and you LOVE this! You also love the heck out of ballet class. You are getting much better behaved too. Just last week, your teacher (Miss Laura) singled you out for doing a good job waiting your turn on floor work. You were very excited and I was so proud. The greatest part of this is that after she told you that, you kept running up to hug her. I think you surprised her a couple of times.
"Hello Beautiful!" - your daddy greeets Mama with this greeting when he comes home from work (I married well, didn't I?). He also says it to you and the other week, Daddy walked into the house and this is how you greeted him - cute.
"Please, I don't want to 'X'" - We have been trying to impress the importance of saying please and thank you. We're getting somewhere, but I love it when you have a meltdown and are yelling this. It's just pretty funny.

Daily Joy
I am stealing this from another blog. Get ready to smile big.
Spinny
I apologize for the bad posting lately.
I feel like things are spinning out of control for me at the moment and the blog is suffering for it.
I will return as soon as possible with a ton of Savannah Jane cuteness.

Happy Fourth!

Since you were wondering ..... yes she's wearing a 4th of July dress, brown pants, Easter socks and that is chocolate batter from the brownies we made all over her face. She wouldn't let me wash it off for 20 minutes.
