Dear Santa

I can't get over how much I love this letter. I want to buy her a potbelly pig to run around in the backyard with just for writing it.

Our girl is the coolest and smartest ever.

POTD: Allergy Testing

Last week we got Savannah's allergy testing done. I had been a wimp and had put it off for MONTHS. She also had a ton of colds in the spring, so it was difficult to fit in between colds, but still - I put it off because it's not a fun test.

Bad news - we will never be getting a cat or having a cashew tasting party. Good news - she's not allergic to much. Her tests came back positive for cashews, macademia nuts, mold, cats and dust mites.

Here's the photo evidence. I took these photos mainly to show S what was happening to her. She was actually quite fascinated once she got over being scratched. The nurse was terrific. We got to watch some Beauty and the Beast and had a blue lollipop afterwards. Then we went for ice cream. I think it's safe to say that she has forgotten about the ouchies.

The above photo shows the reaction - check out that cashew welt at number 3. Dang.

POTD: I Write the Songs

Savannah has been 'writing' songs and then performing them on her little piano. They are actually well thought little bits of music too (with the occassional 'smash all the keys as loudly as you can' refrain)

You can see the song on that little piece of white paper with the green squiggles on it. This game keeps her occupied for a long time. I think it's time for music lessons.

French School Tuition is Justified

This was awesome and came out of nowhere. We were in our hotel in San Antonio this weekend and this concert was unleashed.

Seriously, have your kid learn a second language. Endless entertainment.

Swimmer, Swimmer, Chicken Dinner!

So apprently, I can upload videos BUT NOT PHOTOS! Whatever, Blogger. So unhappy with you right now.

Anyhoodle, Savannah is SWIMMING!!!!!!! I realize this is not Michael Phelps-ian or anything, but you guys, two months ago she was yelling and screaming going into swim class. Thank you magic swim class teachers and Savannah Jane - we couldn't be prouder.

Halloween

Blogger has not been kind to me this week. Why are you not letting me upload photos? That's kindof how it works around here.

So sorry for the delay and NO photos at the moment.

We had a GREAT Halloween. Our neighborhood does it up right with a parade and TONS of kids. Something I like is that we all kick off trick or treating at the same time, so you know when  the hoarde is approaching.

I think Savannah had an amazing time. She was a super cute Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. She was bursting with excitement- the parade started at 5:30 and she wanted to get into her costume at 4:30, so it was an hour of 'When? WHEN CAN WE GO TO THE PARADE?!' The patience DNA is not dominant around these parts.

Hopefully photos to come. If not, there may be a server change in the works.

Pumpkins

Oh I LOVE the new blogger 'Upload All' Feature. It makes my photo-uploading life so much easier. Now you get even MORE photos!

Here are a few more from Dallas. The Dallas Arboretum has a Pumpkin Wonderland that they display every year. They have over 30,000 pumpkins! For my Halloween loving 4 year old, this was Heaven!

POTD: Bouncy House

Savannah's school buddy Sophia turned 5 last weekend. She had a bouncy house with an attached slide. Ol' safety patrol Savannah has never been too keen on bouncy houses. She is so cautious and doesn't like to feel bounced around or threatened in ANY way. Which, in general, is just fine.

I don't know if it was peer pressure or what, but she has suddenly changed her mind about bouncy houses. Bouncing, climbing - it all was fun on Saturday.
